Although I only really got into this with Hero Girl, I took a peek of Tropical Rouge and Delicious Party and would agree with you. But I don't think, if that's what you're suggesting, that Wonderful deserves to be written off. I think it's playing its strengths well.

To name an example, coming from the broader mahou shoujo world, the idea of hugging monsters of the week rather than blasting them into ether struck me as odd at first. Yet I subconsciously grew to accept it, to the point that, when the cat showed up and started beating up the poor garugaru, I was genuinely horrified. My point being that it has managed to find a niche that it fills well.

Watched one more arc (one more novel I assume) of the "racism is the big bad" anime. The first book was definitely the best part, and it got the most resources in terms of adaptation… but the continuation is also okay.

I actually made bookcase for my manga this summer. Stores would try to sell you 30-40cm deep bookshelves, which would fit two rows of manga one behind the other. That's just dumb. The only problem is that I haven't even finished making the bookcase (two of the shelves were still leaking sap so I let them dry out) yet it is already full to the brim. Including with stuff that would go on the two missing shelves.

Can't say that I was - I do things myself all the time, but I already did that before the anime.

Anon actually makes me jealous. I mostly fix broken things, and when I do make something from scratch, it's small, ugly, and spends most of the time in a drawer. It must feel good to have a piece of furniture that you made just standing there, constantly in sight. Even if it's a constant reminder to finish the damned thing, it must feel good.

I forgot the file type, but some fonts are not possible to attach to .ass files. This causes that those who do not have the particular fonts installed can't see them. Adding a separate font folder is silly too, and I can't be assed to attach them to .mkv if I feel like I want to change something later.

Honestly, I didn't really feel most of the season as much as the previous ones. The princess was kinda middling as an addition to the cast, and Chris was just okay. The moment-to-moment comedy kept it up but focusing so much on Lalatina's sluttery kinda dragged out not quite as interesting interplay between the characters - and the interplay between the characters is truly the best part of the series.

However, that last episode… all of the plot of the entire season was wrapped up and we finally got all of the punchlines in 24 minutes of perfection.
