>>20275You can't really have a series with a sport newbie and not have him get good fast. The only other alternative is to do a Major and follow him since childhood.

No.20330
>>20329The OP is more ecchi than the ED. As far as I remember Gamble Fish had ecchi. The MC creates himself a harem too. And actually has better games.

>>20204>It is sort of a slow and detailed world building, which could be very well for a long book, but this is not a book. I bet most people have already lost interest. The next part of the story will have to be something very big to make impact.Just had some battling in this episode, but still feels like nothing has happened in the show.
Also, it's a penis.
No.20482
>>20479Because it seems to be mostly pandering. The MC is still dominating and just goes "lol, I love mechs so much!". I don't hate it, but I am not really feeling very impressed either. The mech animation is doing a nice job, though.
That said it seems to be working, because it is currently on the fifth place in pre-release rankings. I definitely don't think they are planning to just end it this season, so I would say we are for sure getting at least one more cour.
Currently the mad scientist on the other side actually seems somewhat native to the word, though I might be wrong, but I think it is just a matter of time before we get another traveller.

Clip: Hina Logi's opening
Frankly, this season is kinda meh on this front. There are just a few series that I watch the openings and/or endings of. Aho Girl of course, but besides it it's only Princess Principal, Nora, and the aforementioned two.
No.20520
>>20515The Mahoujin Guru Guru ED was pretty good, the best in my opinion.
The best OP would be from Hina Logi or Princess Principal.

>>20539I expected this outright mother-centric episode for quite the while, actually. After all, disregarding spoilers for the VN itself, we saw that 3/4 of the girls are childhood friends who remember his mother with love. Even the opening mentions the "okaasan kara no takaramono".
Though I just can't figure out exactly what they are singing about that. If somebody has the lyrics, I'd love to see them.
That aside, it was pretty obvious the whole VN is more about mothers than about toilets even before I got spoiled about it. Though the combination did surprise me.

And so the season is coming to an ending. I rarely go to 4chan for more than the Koume post, but I still often end up there during the end of a season, being in the last threads of some shows, feeling nostalgic about it, maybe even regretting not joining some of the threads earlier, and eventually crying to myself after they threads die, while thinking how I probably won't get the chance to talk for most of these series and will soon even forgot them. This is probably why my collection of OPs and EDs has increased a lot with the time. At the begging of the season I was thinking how there are barely any good songs to save, but I still ended up with ~40 new songs in my main anime playlist. At least as long as I keep on playing music from time time, I might remember some series by hearing its song. Though it often just makes me cry. Every three months my heart dies a little more. For watching is to live through and all that lives eventually dies. Just in the form of series it is like I have experienced thousands of deaths by now. And if we count every character the number gets that more insane.
At the top of the season I would put Mahoujin Guru Guru with its pure storytelling of old, fun, cute and heartwarming. Maybe not completely deserving at this point, but I will put Rinne 3 after that. Despite everything it is still enjoyable. This season had its share of weirdos. From the Vatican's Miracle Examiners that got to battle global conspiracies with some nice directing at times to the generic Isekai that manages to be surprisingly entertaining with its use of magic. Sakura Reset proved even autistic characters can be interesting. Konbini Kareshi proved you can have a better romance story if you don't focus on the main couple for 3/4s of the series. Jikan no Shihaisha had some nice music and story themes, but it completely choke with its plot. Meanwhile while Dive!! looks like a Free! clone it is a vastly superior anime with not just some pretty faces for characters, but actual characters that struggled and grew as people.
Of course there are many others, but I don't want to be crying all night here.
Don't be jaded and love your anime.

>>20571>Konbini Kareshi proved you can have a better romance story if you don't focus on the main couple for 3/4s of the series.I'd rather say it proved that if you've written a total of 2.5 episodes worth of story for your main couple, you'd better have a solid secondary couple if you want to fill a whole cour.
>>20540Just gave it a try, I hear "名前がないの?付けてあげる、お母さんからの宝物".
If we're still talking about OPs/EDs, I'd like to throw in a vote for Koi to Uso's OP song. Clip-wise I agree Hina Logi's is very nice.

>>20571How was Action Heroine? Did it stay low budget toku antics?
No.20576
>>20575Yes. It never went into idol land, so the OP and their costumes was really misleading. Only in one of the episodes they were training to improve their singing, because supposedly all toku teams sing in the end of a show, but after the episode they were never shown to sing ever again, which was weird. And it was mostly jokes about how bad at singing they are.
