>>33192I'm surprised you continued watching after ep6. This series had more promise as a workplace comedy than as a chuuni drama.
The setting really doesn't make sense. If the humanity has deteriorated so much, isn't our guy directly at fault for that? Or what? Why is the demon realm so bad? Why has he never before wondered about these structural questions? At least when you write chuuni drama, put effort into it and slap some chuuni explanation. This here really feels like the author put zero effort into it.

>>33215Well put. The genki fluffball deserves a better story, too.
No.33217
>>33216I'd actually be fine with the exact same story but the genki fluffball being the protagonist and sole PoV. Imagine her hard work dealing with all of the chuuni bastards around her, especially her beloved. "My coworker is brooding again. What should I do to raise his spirits? I know! I will draw him a picture!" then some time later "My S.O. seems to be several thousand years old. This means our children would live long and healthy lives. Nice!"

>>33248>Also, I think there was a translation issue or something, because Purple-kun named Carla as his ex-fiancee, but later referred to that earl's daughter as his ex-fiancee as well. I'm pretty kuzu-chan was his fiancee since his description describes her, and her position is significantly more suitable for him than Carla's.Huh, I didn't catch that. He does say "Carla wa boku no moto konyakusha" in the Japanese however.
Meanwhile this episode convinced me to read the novels. But the Western industry is so bad that they can't even keep their own books in stock. How dumb must you be to NOT have the first novel ready to fly into people's hands while the ultimate ad for that novel is airing?

>>33220Neetball was marathoning that yesterday, and I watched about 4 episodes in a row
at work.
I have to agree it was quite good. A few of the jokes went places I didn't expect, and the execution was always good. I'm not too fond of this genre, but this is about as good as it gets.

>>33250Well, the side bonus of watching it is that I expect godly doujins next comiket. She's practically begging for rape correction.
No.33252
>>33249>He does say "Carla wa boku no moto konyakusha" in the Japanese however.Another explanation is that they're both Purple's former fiancees. Leon's dad has two wives too, after all. However, given that Carla's family is subordinate to the Offerys, that would be odd.
This is just weird.

Or, rather, I bet Sumire exiled them to the mountain cause they were too loud and were bothering the other girls.

Rikei's last episode was… rather bad. The mangaka manages to portray a flanderized university group but sucks at the actual romance stuff.
But hey, if I managed to watch three seasons of DAL, I surely can watch a third season of Rikei.
No.33350
>>33348It was abysmal. Focusing on Kanade and giving her some growth was not a bad idea, although character progression isn't this anime's forte. Complicating the romantic landscape was, again, not a bad idea per se, although, as you say, romance isn't handled all that well either. But the events in the last two episodes were a clear case of writing yourself into a corner and pushing forward nonetheless.
How's DAL, by the way? I tend to avoid harems, because typically the MCs are unrelatable and the dick-blinded girls behave in uninteresting ways, but I've caught glimpses of the latest season and everyone seemed reasonable enou- oh, wait
>I managed to watch three seasons>three seasons… I think you've answered my question already.

>>33350>But the events in the last two episodes were a clear case of writing yourself into a corner and pushing forward nonetheless.Honestly, it would have been sufferable if they simply left the guy be just a normal guy. But that wouldn't have made for a flashy end of arc, instead leaving a murky, bogged down, true-to-life situation.
>How's DAL, by the way?Clock is definitely a peak of anime girl design.
Sadly, the rest of the harem is very bad. One of the girls was okay but she practically got character assassination in the third season. Plot is awful. Every new season gets worse than the last one. Only the OVAs that don't care for the plot are fine. As far as harems go, this is one of the worse ones. Clock nonwithstanding.

Two more series over.
The tl;dr of the plot of the last arc of the autist demon lord:
Suicidal tomboy lesbians are a plague upon this world, and harem-obsessed bitches and haughty childhood friends are the cure. The autist killed the him that is still in love with his former crush, thus finally becoming less of an autist. Good end.
I'd S2, shit was fun.
Shachiku: it stayed a better version of Senko till the end. Good enough.
Bonus round: I finally finished Akebi. Honestly, the anime never managed even a yota of the needlessness that is the characteristic trait of the manga. As far as writing goes, all of the choices made sense. But that making sense is exactly what makes the adaptation depart from the original in terms of how it feels. It doesn't make sense to waste pages upon pages on one simple action. It does makes sense to interpolate the accomplishments of the athletic festival through Akebi's dance. It shouldn't have made sense: they should have just gone extremely silly and animated the entire dance as one sequence, preferably on ones. And cut the budget from elsewhere.
I enjoyed it nontheless, so eh.

What does 3fu think, are they all brainwashed with ninjutsu to not be able to perceive men? Auto-censorship. Or maybe it's just Tsubaki for some reason? Sensei and the transfer student don't have such problems for sure. No.33366

This really was one of the best fantasy series lately. It was also less rushed than Zero's season, which made it even more enjoyable in some ways. The whole world really sparks your imagination. Hope we get translation of the novels and/or S2 soon.

The magic is also pretty cool.
