Getting closer and closer to when I can finally watch Fafner in one sitting.
>>32332Same. So happy the manga wasn't just a one note affair.

Picking up Digimon: Spooky Edition. Looks interesting, and I haven't watched a Digimon adaption since Tamers.
No.32362
>>32361I came when Abe-kun made a short cameo. The really bad thing is that ERECT NIPPLES IN SKINTIGHT BODYSUITS is forever gone thanks to all ages versions of the games AND now the bodysuits are not even that skintight anymore, when the glasses girl walked in the hangar the suit was bagging from the ass so we lost a beautiful rear puffy vulva shot.

Didn't quite manage to drop stuff session
>Platinum EndShit. I got bored midway through the episode and fast-forwarded to see if anything happens. Nothing did.
>Takt Op. DestinyFor an anime about music where the main character literally says "Let the performance begin!"… there is no performance. He's lying to us. There is no music during the battle itself, he is not conducting shit, and she isn't dancing or performing in the battle. It's just lackluster flashy shit with zero thematic involvement and nothing else. It was a complete disappointment.
>that assassin isekai by the Redo authorThe backstory part was nice but I feel like I will drop it after one more episode.
>Shin no NakamaOn the one hand I want an anime about an actual pharmacy, on the other hand the main girl seems like she'll be trash. Guess I will give it one-two more episodes to see where it's going.
>Kyuuketsuki Sugu ShinuOkayish comedy. Feels like it will get boring fast. It was already not very interesting the first episode.
>Visual KeiIt was very bad but I just can't bring myself to hate it. I will actually give it the three episode treatment. P.S. The clear winners are the band that plays the music for all of the singers.
>the Taisho waifu animeIt's… actually fine. Very wish fulfillment-y but it managed to hold my interest.
>LaikaNot bad. The pseudo-cyrilic font is maddening, literally, but the cute slav vampire tomboy is pretty good, so it is a +-0 thing.
>SakuganThis was really fun. Fast-paced setup that didn't feel like it missed anything important. I managed to feel that scene, so I guess the anime did succeed in endearing the characters to me in the very little time it had. Sasuga Satelight.
>Crown Handler Busy Easy Money10/10 masterpiece. Second film when?
>>32362I'm more mad that the cheek things have disappeared now. I will still fap to the TSFs every single fucking episode, so everything is fine.

>>32368Was there ever anything good in Yuyuyu anyway?
No.32399
>>32395Haven't watched it yet, but I am guessing it is all the faggotry about "you can't appreciate Alternative without the first two parts". Which is total bullshit. Alternative is full of flashbacks as it is. You don't have to be Einstein to make the emotional connections. And I am guessing what they did in the anime is try to "fix" this by just making an info dumb in the beginning so you are immediately caught up, instead of through the story, as it was in the LN.

>>32416From these two screenshots I could imagine it being a low effort Gundam Wing clone.
No.32421
>>32419I haven't watched Wing, but I'm hesitant to say this is low effort since the visuals are generally good, and the mechs aren't 3DCG shit.
>>32420She looks like a massive dork.
No.32422
>>32421>She looks like a massive dork.Yep, very cute.
>I haven't watched Wing, but I'm hesitant to say this is low effort since the visuals are generally good, and the mechs aren't 3DCG shit. The writing was very low effort from ep 1, and the designs are quite generic all in all. And this season whenever I feel like fapping to mecha, I'll just open the next episode of MLA.
No.32423
>Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu 3The side characters are actually pretty funny. I'll probably follow this.
>Shikizakura 2It's… fine? I'll… watch the third episode too?
>Saihate no Paladin 2This is quite bad. Not gonna bother with it anymore. The fact that it's an isekai only makes it worse.
>Senpai ga Uzai 2It's not good, but it's the type of fast food shit that is just right for watching between shows I actually care about.
>Taishou Otome 2Like Senpai ga Uzai, but with more drama, so it may be too annoying to follow.
>Visual Prison 2I actually like this? What?
>Isekai Shokudou10/10
>>32395It's absolutely clear the production staff stops giving a shit the moment no TSFs are on screen anymore. That's honestly fine with me.
No.32426
>>32422>writing was very low effortEighty Six level or what? Still didn't bother checking Kyoukai Senki.
No.32427
>>32422>>32423Fucking Muv Luv and their shit character designs, all big boob characters are several cups smaller and the only perflat character has boobs. Also Marimo looks way too young. The only thing worth in this piece is probably to see the mecha action, Kouki himself was very content with the combat visuals so could say it's canon.

No.32490
>>32489Yeah, I dropped that one - it's clearly not for me. I gave it 4 episodes, as apparently the director had hinted the fourth was going to be good stuff, but it was a disappointment. MC using his knowledge of vidya to revolutionize military training and tactics was outright isekai stuff, not ok at all.
In its place I've picked up the one about bullying Romanian nobility (>>32480). I'm not sure yet what tone it intends to have, but it shows some promise.
No.32493
>>32490The video game part was logical unlike MMORPG knowledge applying to fantasy settings.
No.32497
>>32493His talk was coherent, certainly, and his ideas could well provide an improvement over the statu quo. The isekai logic is in the fact that the military hadn't already considered, and solved better, the problem of mapping a robutt's motion into an interface that a human can master.
>>32491Unnoticed? No way. Even I, clearly not a fan of robot anime, am watching it for
>>32492. Apparently I haven't taken any Denchi Shoujo screenshots, so have instead this skating idol staring purposefully.
No.32498
>>32497This wasn't as clearly stated in the anime but BETAverse had its entertainment technology in the level of cat's cradle, rhythmic games never existed and was thus further than out-of-the-box thinking. Additionally considering the game is from 2006 it deserves a praise.
No.32508
Normally I can tolerate the archetype of Kyoukai Senki's MC, but with everything outside of the mechs and their battles being mediocre or worse, his faggotry is nigh unbearable. He'll probably die given the ED, but it won't be soon enough. The only way for him to be redeemed is if he becomes an edgelord.
And where the are the cute girls? I'm just asking for one. The red-headed girl that will consummate the trio is far from it, and the dead onee-san is worse than plain. Funnily enough, her friends from the last episode were better in this regard.
No.32629
It took a whole cour, but I can now say that I'm enjoying Kyoukai Senki.

No.32633
>>32630The story is slowly expanding in scope, and Brad's involvement is growing. The latter is important since he's far more interesting than any of the MCs. Further, the combat is still cool, and it'll be interesting to see what other mechs will be used by the other factions.
I still wouldn't call Kyoukai Senki a good anime, but if you're a mecha fan, then it's worth it.
