Nothing is really jumping out at me besides some sequels.

No.32092
Guess I'll start on my manga backlog this season.
No.32093
Yeah, I don't have a lot coming my way either. That's just as well, I've been working through my backlog at a decent pace this season and I should like more of that.
Lets see what's actually there.
- bokutachi no remake: worth a shot I guess
- yuutousei: I've never watched rettousei, but I'm in for a spinoff centered on an imouto. I just hope there are ojousamas who laugh at her, that's all I'm asking for
- kageki shoujo: it looks completely out of its time and place, and that makes me curious
- uramichi oniisan: theme sounds interesting
- aquatope: it's P.A., so I have to. I wish they'd stick to nagiasu/shirobako-style designs, I don't like this irozoku sekai style
- raburaibu, always
- madoka knockoff: maybe if I watch it they'll make it stop
Also, please, can we start spelling 'idolshit' as 'IDOLSHi7'? It's clearly what the industry wants us to do, there's no other explanation.

>>32140Because they are not real yet, right, anon?
No.32146
>>32143No, they're very real–just dead. However, once I've sufficiently honed my necromancy, these dead loli will soon be alive once more. Eventually, I might not merely imagine impregnating cold flesh whilst I eagerly pump baby batter into their decomposing wombs.
Exciting times, my dear anons, and I exhort you all to practice the darker arts to solve your deceased loli problems.

>>32146Thank you fufufu. I knew I loved lurking here.
No.32158
>>32155Love it while you can as 3fu's activity seems to be falling from its previous level of "technically not dead."
No.32161
>>32158Perhaps you should focus your necromancy on this particular issue.

- So, there's this anti-magic terrorist group, you see. By the way, did you know that communists and pacifists are all Korean agents seeking to undermine Glorious Yamato?
- Everyone fucking knows that, onii-sama!
- Right, so this terrorist group…
That soapboxing caught me by surprise - made me think at first that the source material was one of those 'narou' net-novels, but no, it's an ordinary paper light novel. Then again, the whole show's pretty soapboxy, what with the main characters constantly judging everyone over what they think about the two-tier school system. The whole thing could've been handled a bit more subtly and consistently, but it's not a big deal, it's a fun watch and bigoted anime girls are cute.
No.32221
Looking at the post count of the previous season's thread, I take it this season is truly weak.
No.32222
>>32221It is the least season anime I have watched in 10+ years. Though this might say more about my current state in life.
No.32223
>>32222And I just realized we are already half way through the season. Damn.
No.32224
>>32221It is weak, but its gems are better than average. Uramichi-oniisan is fun for the whole f/a/mily. Kageki Shoujo is an old story we all know already, but done surprisingly well. Aquatope is P.A. back to the good old P.A. LL Superstar beats the previous LLs out of the water. Kanojo mo Kanojo, Cheat Kurushi and Sonny Boy all seem solid enough at what they're trying to be, although I've only watched fragments of those.
I think it's mostly fufufu who's… taking a nap this season. She's resting. Beautiful plumage, though.

>>32387>>32389Speaking of which, I miss old Shaft, if you know what I mean. Not endorsing arson and murder, of course, if you know what I mean.
No.32396
>>32394The spirit of old Shaft obviously went to Passione.
I am still disappointed Shaft didn't dust out the old tv show set from PPD for Nisio Tanteidan. It would have fit so well.
No.32450
Realist Hero had really weird pacing:
Episodes 1 to 8 - book 1
Episodes 9 to the middle of 12 - book 2
The remaining one and a half episodes - one third of book 3
A full second season of presumably 13 episodes - the remainder of book 3 and book 4
Can somebody explain me why? It ended literally in the middle of nowhere like that, not even a cliffhanger, just one bland "wait, that's it?" right after introducing a new character. And book 2 is mostly descriptions of fighting, so 5 episodes would have been mostly enough for it. But with just 3.5 episodes it's rushed as fuck.
I mean, I'm not complaining. I expected them to get all four books in 13 episodes, making everything way more rushed, so even 3.5 episodes is beyond my expectations. I just fail to see any logic in adapting the first book properly, then for some reason upping the pacing significantly. Let's say they will spend some time fleshing out the rushed bits of book 3 in S2, after all they have nearly 8 episodes per book for each of book 3 and 4. But why book 2 specifically getting the scissors?
Or, like, do they intend to adapt more than books 1-4? The author himself says that books 1-4 were the original arc that he intended to write, so everything afterwards is just bonus material. It makes no sense to include anything more than them.
I'm genuinely baffled by this decision.
That being said, Mao voicing the tanuki is pure pleasure, and getting to hear the blue trash sing the actual song Give a Reason absolutely made the anime for me.
No.32453
>>32450>the blue trash sing the actual song Give a ReasonI don't usually download anime just to make a webm and forget about the show itself forever, but I just did.
Actually, that makes it twice with this season's anime, the other being Bokutachi no Remake / God Knows.
