I want to share this with you people, because you will understand.
I wrote a program that keeps track of when my seasonal anime picks come out, and warns me when one is late. Whether this is because the release itself is late or because my automated download failed, the warning helps me address the issue ASAP.
It's supposed to simply forget about anime that are no longer in its watchlist, but because of some weird bug it won't forget about Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine. And so, every week I get its innocent, oblivious notice:
>Running late: hachigatsu no cinderella nine
I have written a program that's always waiting for a 3rd of October that's not going to come, and I can't bring myself to debug it or stop it, because I can relate.

>>28570Might want to post this somewhere where people will see it. A thread past the bump limited on the end of page one is not the best. For example bump the cute girls on computer thread. It has coding discussions in it.

>>28578I realise, and I considered other options, but I figured this story was best shared among the hopelessly nostalgic than somewhere where people may be more interested in debugging my code than in appreciating its pathos.
Thank you.

>>28579Ah, you are right. You did say it is "share" and not really a request for help.
