Is Aoi Honoo translated now? I remember looking for it after watching the TV series and I couldn't find it anywhere. If it is I vote for that.
Last time we were going for one volume a week, weren't we? I couldn't keep up with that.

So you claim you were here for the Blazing Student thing? Damn, man. But yes, for sure this time it will be less than the previous time. I personally would prefer if it is at least more than a single chapter per week, though. Of course, it depends on how long a single chapter is anyway. It would be nice if we can at least finish within a year, so maybe we shouldn't pick something too big.

Well it's only been around 2 years, hasn't it? I'd think most of us here were around for it. Shame about Aoi Honoo. I don't read any manga that's still ongoing though and don't read a whole lot besides that, so I'd probably be fine with whatever.

I think the premise is a little flawed really.

How about something well known but not of absurd length? Something like Shigurui or Monster might be good, since those have a lot of appeal.

That might be fine, but not very in the "ongoing" sense. It's ripe for discussion, but only after the end. Also I've read it two or three times. If you guys decide on it, I'll just challenge myself to read the novel and compare/contrast in the end. What about Classmate, Kamimura Yuuka? It seems to be exactly the type of trainwreck for fun bullshitting, from what I've read in the first 5 chapters or so. Or maybe something iyashi-kei like Bonnouji?
