Thankfully the animation went back to being good these last two episodes. But sadly even the hot springs episode cut out the manga's fan service.

And it's over. Midorin was the surprise best character in this show. I just looked up her seiyuu and wow, Ichimichi Mao has a lot of range.

I couldn't take the last episode serious. All this crying, drama and now we are loving friends. With the lesbian pedo that tricked my adoptive father to live with us. It is okay when it is just stupid comedy, but when you try to make it all serious suddenly, it just doesn't fit with the rest of the show.

Aaaand the last episode and a little were the definition of "forced drama". They felt like they needed an excuse to clarify some things, so they went for the stupidest possible way. But what's even worse is how this clarification only makes the series worse, no matter the way it was given. We didn't know to hear how the pedo lost her eyesight or what Misha thought about her mother after all this time; the series had actually managed to show these without outright telling. Oh well. Guess they didn't have budget/time and went for the route that allowed them to reuse tons of animation.

I don't know what I just watched, but it was glorious. Definitely the best episode of the series. Somewhat like how Excel Saga's last episode was the best one.
