This is annoying me for the same reason Planetes did; you have these adult characters in an official position and they're making stupid fuckups and acting like kids and they're just getting slaps on the wrist for it.
Also, Amakusa has been working for the chair force for god knows how long doing god knows what, and she doesn't even know what a TAC name is? Come the fuck on.

Do you expect a woman in the army to behave like an adult or to even pass the standards men do? Not even in Japan it seems. The most serious one in the anime ended up throwing a tantrum. Their role is really to be caretakers for the dragons and to emotionally bond with them. It is kind of funny in perspective.

Is that the only problem with the show? I remember disagreeing with you about this point in regard to Planetes so it kind of makes me want to watch this for myself. But at the same time, it's Okada so I'm sure that there will be some bigger problems with the story and characters down the line.

If I have other problems with it they'd be that prior to episode 4 there was no indication of where it was going outside of Amakusa growing closer with Masotan, but now there's apparently some government conspiracy going on. Amakusa's total communication failures started off funny but now they're making more serious drama out of it which is just aggravating. That said I was mostly liking it aside from the total lack of reprimanding going on, yeah. Until this episode, anyway.

I don't know if you mean me or Okada. It was obviously just meant as a way to tell the viewer what a TAC name was, but it was still a dumb way to go about it that makes Amakusa look like an idiot.
