I'm really liking the soundtrack for this show. The composer is a pretty young guy too, so it'll be nice to see what he does in the future.

No.20412
Seems like the last two episodes have been getting a lot of original content with many people not happy about it.
With how superman-like Reg was in the end of this episode it makes me question his use of the beam early in the episode. Which all seems to be original stuff.
No.20413
>>20412Which parts are original? It certainly didn't seem to be two hours there, so that would explain it. It was also odd how Riko fell into that
stomach yet didn't seem to suffer any from it. That must be some incredibly weak acid.
No.20414
>>20413Didn't get to read exactly what. But actually as a whole the 3rd layer was mostly eventless in the manga, so they did some extra world building in the anime.
The character were supposedly very out of character, though. Reg using randomly the nuke, Riko being portrayed as helpless and them using the relic weapon was all original stuff.
Also the last episode is going to be a double one.
No.20421
>>20414Riko being so dumb was the biggest issue. She was a little careless up until now, but nowhere near how recklessly stupid she was in this episode.

I guess this proves my scepticism towards the complains of Rico being represented as weak. Maybe, because she was represented mostly mentally weak, but she is definitely the weakest link. And being reckless/dumb is something she has been doing since the start, including even going to the Abyss by itself.
No.20437
Oh yeah, I just remembered. With the whole curse of the abyss thing, isn't it odd that Ozen's camp is accessed through a lift that drops down to platforms below and pulls people up? Or was the curse just negligible at that depth?
No.20438
Well this episode was fucking brutal. But it clashed badly with the original material from the last one. They specifically make up a scene of Reg understanding that he can't hesitate to use his canon, and then this episode he hesitates and suffers for it. How could they not see the problem here?

Why is Bondrewd such a dick? Also I know his whistle showed up somewhere before, but I can't remember where. They kind of glossed over how Nanachi escaped.
Since the manga's not done I guess I'll wait for S2.
