Honestly I never finished the original series and its direct sequel Makai Senki, for no particular reason. I started with the third one that was not connected to them. As far as I know Zero is in both of them. In Makai no Hana, with the son of Kouga, Zero shows up again here and there. There was also a short mini series - Zero Black Blood. A fucking boring second episode. Not sure if the source material is boring, or it's just KyoAni emphasizing the boring stuff and cutting out the comedy. I'd bet on the second, Cool Kyoushinsha is usually cool.

Well, it had its moments, and it certainly carries the author's spirit, so I guess I'll see an episode or two more.

Wow, I can't believe how much LWA annoys me as a television series. I think it's because Akko got more self-important and brazen, and every episode just has to validate her. And it's episodic.

And the characters are redoing development they already had in the ovas. I wish they could have just continued the story of the OVAs.

I thought this was quite lacking in worldbuilding. Who's fighting who? Why? Do both sides have dragons? Why even bother with ships if dragons can destroy the entire fleet before they even catch sight of it?
No complaints otherwise, though I've not really got any strong feelings on it either. It's alright I guess.

Again, screw you, faggots, Marginal#4 is great fun. To the people that might dislike idol stuff, the fact they are idols is mostly a thing you will heard about in a some conversation than get to see after the first scene of episode one. Weirdly enough they don't even spend any time within the episodes to promote songs. Most of the anime is happening in their school and private life. It is basically a story about a school club with likeable character with good dynamic between them that just so happened to have a lot of twitter followers.
