What an edgy episode. While killing the childhood friend might not be a big loss for the viewers, introducing a new character to show us how cool he is before he gets killed is very irking. Though now we are probably getting 4 episodes of flashbacks.

Yes. The other character was important too. His death at least was less forced. It is late to hide in the spoiler tag, but also Izzy, the American bitch, lost her left hand.

"LOUD DISTORTED SOUND" is by far my least favorite sound effect.

Also this show could easily be at least twice as good if it was being made by a studio who didn't mind actually showing us some titties.

At the very least BB could talk with the MC from within and there could be some quirk between the childhood friend and the cat loli, because they were connected once, so there are other ways for the characters to come back, not just a reset. But considering the plans of the princess a reset is likely possible with the power of the mighty tattoos.

How come the MC never got in trouble for having a tattoo on his hand? Did they ever show him walking around with a bandage or did they ever establish that normal people can't see it? It is a big taboo in Japan, so it is a little weird. With anime like this I am quick to start missing on details.

I'm pretty sure normal people can see them since they had the girl wear a plaster over the one on her forehead, but after flicking through the first few episodes I didn't see anything about him making any real effort to hide it.
Probably best not too think about it too much, we'd be here all day if we really started picking apart all the little details.

Well, all up to date. They really shoulda spent way more time building up the relationship between BB and the MC. They knew each other for what, a day before this shit happened?
Princess is right as usual though, at this point a full on edgy revenge story could be pretty fun. Chances of that are already looking quite low though with the doctor already showing up to save the day.

I am actually angry that just as I expected Seigi decided to also save the princess even though she killed someone he loved dearly. His blind rage was stupid, especially after all the training, but doing a 180 feels just as silly.

The non-ending and the trailer for the next arc of the manga was even worse than I expected.
