>>16376That scene was predictable, but I'm not so sure if the others were eating the same food or not. And boy, this kid sure is getting fucked at every opportunity.
>There is of course also the question if by the end Angelo will actually feel too close to Nero to kill him. They are hiding his thoughts even from the viewer.I figure this is going to be the biggest element of the story going forward. I do think he'll do it though.

>>16383I just want to believe he won't. I like bro stories. But I am sure by the end there won't be much of the mafia left either way. They didn't mention it again, but in one of the first two episodes they were talking about some mafia meeting in around 3 months, hence 91 days, or at least so I think.
As far as the food of our band, I think it was the chicken they talked about in the start of the episode.

Did anyone else find this episode a lot harder to follow than the rest? I'm still not even sure who the guy at the end is.

>>16936The uncle? This episode didn't have much happening, but it had some characters around that we simple don't know much about, including the uncle. But it is likely he has his own personal grievances. Where is his family? It probably suffered because of the mafia. It is likely that the guy they killed was maybe even his friend.
He was also the one torturing the Lawless Heavens kid, I think, so he orchestrated the kid running away.

>>16941>the only thing left for him is to reveal that he was the fourth personI thought that was already implied? With scenes like where he gave Angelo the gun and the pause following it, I figured they both knew that one of them was going to kill the other once the rest was done.
Corteo was the bigger bother this episode; he did a pretty big 180 and was suddenly super friendly towards Angelo after losing his shit for the last several episodes.
Also, the animation is going to shit. Almost getting to Qualidea Code levels with how it's got prolonged still shots instead of showing what's happening.

>>16942The things that you expect are often the things you want to happen the least after all.
Of course Corteo was friendly to Angelo. He didn't lie when he said he did it to get his friend back. It was normal for him to mellow down.
But the end was just too much for me. They even send him to God knows where just so he can magically teleport back in the last second. Angelo could have survived that easily.
I also have to wonder how come they never even thought of giving him a free pass and letting him to go away for killing Fango. The mafia do appreciates stuff like that and they didn't even portrayed Nero as taking it personally. Traumatizing Angelo even further was just the primal goal, I guess.

>>17099I am pretty sure the guy that met him at the end wouldn't like such a thing. I think him dying, even if it means killing himself, is probably more likely at this point. But becoming a don might just be the kind of ending the writer prefers. It could really go in any way, but I don't see Angelo getting unbroken as a likely thing to happen.

What a middling final episode. Episode 11 was the climax, and this was just a whimper. Leaving the ending ambiguous was decent enough, but that final shot of the footprints was a mess.
Did they both moonwalk back to the car? That or it's some metaphorical bullshit.>>17129>The anime was better than I expected, but I still didn't like a lot about it.The big problem is that there wasn't enough time to flesh out most of the cast, and so there was little reason to care about most of the cast (and their subsequent deaths). It's just yet another modern show that suffered from being crammed into 12 episodes when 24 would have worked out much better.

>>17131I agree, but even with that some of the important, yet silly in a bad way, plot points would have still remained.
I think one of the things the anime missed on heavily was to explore more Angelo's thoughts. Many people think that TV adaptations shouldn't do that, but I disagree with a lot of shows which could get a lot better if done properly. As a bonus it would have added a nice edge with a sudden thought silence during the last two episodes.
