May as well make a thread.

The show is doing well. It's not that there is much depth to the characters, but we still learn new things about them every now and then. And the comedy works. And Dogakobo fell into their comfort zone pretty quickly, after trying and failing to make the first episode "beautiful". And I don't mind whatever drama there is; actually, there is almost none lately. I quite despised this guy's previous anime, but even there he had managed to do a decent comedic start before plunging into drama and killing everything worthwhile. Guess he's playing to his strengths with Sansha Sanyou. I only wish orz didn't release one week later.

As far as SoLs go I'm not that fond of this one. The side characters range from unfunny to obnoxious yet every episode puts focus on them. The main group of 3 and the other school girls are good but the show doesn't seem comfortable to just focus on them.
At least it's better than Anne Happy.

This was probably the first episode I felt they overplayed the flanderization of the characters. But it was still quite enjoyable, so it's okay?

I knew what "flanderization" is way before I knew what "tvtropes" is, and I can only assume everybody is like me.
And no, you are wrong. They have a set of defining features that the show uses more or less prominently depending on the episodes. What makes episode 11 different is how it pretty much used ONLY these features, and nothing else the entire episode. At least the previous episodes used to introduce new things, even if they didn't provide for too deep of a characters.

Last ep was perfect. Also Dogakobo really upped the animation for it. They probably spent more on this one than on the last three together. By the way, I really like how you can actually see that Hayama's glasses are not just for show.
