God, I love this show.

The mix of nostalgia and the comfyness of it all makes it such a relaxing thing to watch.

It has been already announced for next spring. You can't stop Rumiko. Easily one of the most enjoyable series since it started airing last year. The atmosphere is just godlike.

Letting Mamiya-san express some new emotions was definitely a great way to finish the season. It was very well done with how the usual hijinks ended up effecting her, without ruining the usual atmosphere of the show, and helped hers and Rinne's characters to grow as well as they got closer to each other.

There was also the Rie tsundere, which was surprisingly enjoyable to hear for the first time in a while.

The yellow subs were surprising but also nostalgic. They feel fitting for a Rumiko show.

What is there to explain? Only The Anime Network is translating it now for some reason. They use yellow subs and they are cable making subtitles with lower quality than CR.

The third season really dropped the ball with having so many 3-parter episodes. Overall it still had a lot of good chapters, so it is not like I didn't like it. Seems like the implication is next year there won't be a new season, which is really sad. But they have almost caught up to the manga, so it can't be helped. Hopefully it gets another season eventually and it finishes the whole story with the manga. I am going to miss it a lot.

In a way I'm kinda happy, since this is the first Rumiko Takahashi series I was able to follow from start to finish. I've been alive since before Ranma, but this series I was able to follow since it was first announced, and now I get to say I saw it trough. It feels both sad and nice.

I never gave Ranma, nor InuYasha the time of the day either. At least now we both know that Rumiko is truly a goddess, so we should eventually do that. But also finishing the Rinne manga will be nice to know at least if Mamiya Sakura is going to end with anyone at all.

God bless the Mamiya Sakura tits. They cut the one scene in the manga where Rinne walks/floats in on her undressing and we see her glorious rack and lacy brassiere. I get why, but it was still a shame. All Rumiko Takahashi stories contain some amount of titties, after all.
