Who's still watching?
I care far more about these two than the boring main pair.

It is great and even though you would think Spit Woman would be annoying their couple is actually very cute.

The talk with her brother in front of her apartment was a truly 10/10 scene. All in all, it's the best SoL for this year by a mile.

Only, I don't like the openings and endings. I'm skipping them every time.

Of course now that things progressed between the main characters, it was time for an episode about two brand new and completely irrelevant side characters. What a waste of time.

I liked it. Too much progress has the risk of hurting the pacing and bringing too many plotlines to an end before we've started caring for the next ones. And, well, now's the time to see Spit Woman's progress in-between other storylines. I want something gradual, without big revelations.

Sigh, I remember wanting the same thing out of Jupiter's arc. Wakaki did kind of give something similar to us, but it's infinitely better if it's just represented in minute interactions during the normal life of the characters, instead of in self-retrospection and rare moments of great importance. And I just did a parallel between Katsuragi and Spit Woman. Wow. It's surprisingly fitting, the more I think about it.

She's so totally not coming back. I really wonder why in such a situation the boy's first reaction isn't to offer to at least escort her to the place where she's going. This situation happens often in fiction, doesn't it? Yet the boy always backs out. Then again, I'm not sure how much my personal experience supports "asking to come along" as a viable reaction.

Because the MC is a pussy who can barely even stop from stumbling over his words every time he talks to Anna. As if he'd have the guts to prod her to let him go with her when she's ditching his date.

Of course, but even in other series the rare protag who is not a total pushover would never say something like this. I just wish to finally see something that averts this trope. Even here: showing such an unexpected side of him would have been nice.

What now?

Her not checking her phone was dumb. Did she not even have it on vibrate?

That's kind of even sadder. She's just showing she's less concerned about Natsu himself than the present she bought. So the romantic subplot has been completely one-sided up to now. From now on she may develop some sort of feelings, just because she's put in an extreme situation together with Natsu, but up to now obviously it was complete zero, just friends and nothing more.

>>15723
Her not taking him along was dumb. As far as I can tell, she was away for several hours at least. They've met like two hours ago, then she skips the next five? What the hell? Then again, this is a typically Japanese bullshit, so I shouldn't complain.

>She's just showing she's less concerned about Natsu himself than the present she bought.
You're clearly putting much more thought into this than the author. Just go with it, man. It's not that deep.

You might be exaggerating this just a little.

I know, but some things one just has to get out of his system in order to enjoy the show as much as possible. For example, I remember trashtalking Color Wars a lot for the first few episodes, but now every time I remember it, fond feelings stem up in me.

>>15728
Yeah. I estimated it to be between 2 and 5 hours, but chose the upper limit to include in the post.

10/10 explanation, I'm sad she decided it's bollocks immediately afterwards.

Jokes aside, it's nice to see her starting to perceive Natsuki as possible romantic partner. It'd be nice for her to now demonstrate a good social intelligence and sort these complicated feelings fast enough to confess to Natsu before he manages to confess to her. Probably Valentines Day, huh?

Technically not a confession.

Wow, this girl's inner world is fucking boring.

That aside, I do appreciate they didn't even wait for Valentine's day for this. Still, I guess the real confession would be on 14.02. Second season when?

Wait, this actually was the last episode? For fuck's sake.
