Crying tears of happiness aside, it was actually quite the good slice-of-life demonstration of the ways the heroes changed over the course of the two seasons. Nice.

This season of Konosuba will be coming to a close next week, and that's enough to lower my spirits. Darkness hitherto was the weakest amongst the quartet, but now she's almost as good as Megumin. To see such development is rare but very welcome, and I just hope I'm not dead by the time the next season is rolled out.

Honestly, I didn't really feel most of the season as much as the previous ones. The princess was kinda middling as an addition to the cast, and Chris was just okay. The moment-to-moment comedy kept it up but focusing so much on Lalatina's sluttery kinda dragged out not quite as interesting interplay between the characters - and the interplay between the characters is truly the best part of the series.
